Kate is a lifelong learner and deeply passionate about whole-person wellness. As a Client Support Associate for All Points North at APN Boulder in Colorado, Kate wears many hats, interacting with and anticipating client needs, assisting the clinical team and care coordination, writing blog posts, and creating alumni community events.

Kate earned her bachelor’s degree from Indiana University in Psychology and Media Persuasion, graduating Summa Cum Laude while involved in many extracurricular activities. During her undergraduate program, she focused on clinical mental health, working in a residential mental health and addiction center.

Kate furthered her professional experience as a Functional Nutritionist, transitioning into private practice and helping individuals focus on how nutritional health interacts with all aspects of an individual. Her additional certification as a Biology of Trauma Practitioner led her back to the mental health space, seeing the intersection between food and mental health on a behavioral, chemical, and nervous system level. Currently, she is enrolled in the 3-year long training program to finish her certification as a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner. Following her certification, she plans to continue her education and become a licensed professional counselor.
